Description of UNIPAVE Paver Model - ESP 03
Engine:
Unipave Paver finisher Model ESP 03 is powered by Kirloskar make diesel engine
model 4R 1040 developing 65 hp at 2000 rpm. It is mounted on the front side of
operator seat, beside hopper. It is well insulated in such a way that the hot air of the
engine does not create hazard for the operator, as well it is well ventilated from
bottom so that it may not get over heated. Inspection windows are provided on both
the sides of engine to easy maintenance of the engine such as checking oil level,
changing oil, oil filter, diesel filter, starter and alternator. Spares of the engine are
easily available all over India.
Travel Drive:
Hydrostatic drive is provided for traction with a two speed gear-box. High speed is for
traveling and low speed for working. Speed is infinitely variable from zero to
maximum. Traveling speed is 0 to 16 kmph and working speed is 0 to 30 meters per
minute.
Hopper:
Two hydraulically operated folding type hoppers are provided on the front side of the
machine. The capacity of the hopper is 4.25 CM.
Conveyor and Auger:
Two Hydraulic motors are provided for individual control of two conveyors and
Auger, which are provided for individual control of material on both the sides of
machine.
Screed:
The main screed is pivoted at the center point of the machine to assure a constant
flatness of work on uneven grounds. It consists of 2440 mm main screed with
mechanical extension of suitable size to work up to 4000 mm and hydraulic vibration.
(Optional) Hydraulically extendable screed with basic screed width of 2.6
meter and hydraulically extendable up to 4.5 meter.
Sensor: (Optional) Electronic Sensor for slope & grade control for easy modification
of slope & grade according to job requirement.
Control Panel:
All the functions to control the machine are provided on a single control panel,
mounted within easy reach of the operator. Extreme care has been taken for
mounting the control panel so that the operator has maximum visibility.
